Forest School

We are very fortunate to have the space to be able to provide a forest school experience to our children.

Each week classes of children will visit our forest school for a session of fun packed outdoor learning. Forest school is really good for helping children to grow in confidence and independence, it promotes child-led learning in a dedicated outdoor area.  

During each session, children build up knowledge about the natural space around them through play, investigation, creativity with natural materials, shelter- building and fire-lighting. They increasingly make their own choices and discoveries. Social learning and co-operation are important aspects of this.

Research has shown the educational benefits, particularly in social, physical and emotional areas of learning – leading to greater focus and intellectual awareness.

We are committed to providing a forest school for the benefit of our children. It goes a long way to providing valuable memories and giving children experiences to set them up for the challenges of life!​​​​​​
